Alexander (AJ) Jefferson from LSC-University Park was selected as a recipient of the prestigious and highly competitive Barry Goldwater Scholarship! AJ's success exemplifies the opportunities available to students through the LSC Honors STEM Scholars Track and the Take Flight Scholars program, both of which helped him secure an NSF-funded REU at Texas A&M researching biofilm dynamics in Costa Rican streams.
