Electrical and Computer Engineering • Duncan College • 1st year at Rice

Hello! My name is Ulises. I am from Mexico and a transfer student from Lone Star College - North Harris. Over the summer, I had the opportunity to participate in the Nanomaterials REU at Rice; this is an amazing introduction to the culture at the university, so I encourage anyone reading this to apply to REUs if they are interested in attending Rice. During my time here, I plan on joining organizations such as Rice Racing, Rice Electric Vehicle, and Rice Eclipse (I really like things that go fast). After graduation, I would like to develop a career in the motorsports or aerospace industries and pursue a master's degree.
