Sport Analytics and Statistics • Jones College • 2nd year at Rice

Hello, my name is Saylor Robinson, and I am one of your Take Flight Alumni Ambassadors! I transferred here from the Honors College at Lone Star Kingwood with aspirations of continuing my journey towards working for a professional baseball team in a data analytics capacity. I quickly discovered that Rice was the perfect university to pursue that passion, as I found myself working with Rice's student-run Baseball Analytics Team not even two weeks into my first semester! When I'm not in class or involved in Take Flight activities, you'll often find me eagerly running around Reckling Park (working or not!), chugging both an iced milky way and coursework at Rice Coffeehouse, or hanging around Jones!
