Mechanical Engineering • McMurtry College • 2nd year at Rice

Hi y’all! I’m Ella, a junior at Rice, transferred from Lone Star College - Tomball. I've really enjoyed my time at Rice, specifically my involvement with Engineers without Borders and doing research with Dr. Avila's research group. Outside of academics I love running, reading, crocheting, and listening to Taylor Swift. After Rice, I hope to continue working with Lockheed Martin as a stress analysis engineer. My biggest piece of advice: No one knows what you need unless you say it, don't be afraid to speak up.
