Business Finance (BA) • Hanszen College • 3rd year at Rice

Hi, my name is Chai. I transferred to Rice from Lone Star College in the Fall '24 semester. Outside of class, I enjoy playing soccer, running, and trying out new restaurants. A fun fact about me is that I founded the Thai Student Association at Rice, which has been one of the most rewarding things I've done on campus. As a first-gen, low-income student, I know how challenging the college journey can be, especially as a community college student. Feel free to ask me about the transfer process, working part-time during school, life at Rice, or even for some restaurant recommendations. I enjoy helping other students navigate similar journeys, so please don't hesitate to reach out!
